RBF Morph in collaboration with the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” is organizing the workshop ”GPU PROGRAMMING WITH CUDA MAKES CAE AS FAST AS VIDEOGAMES” that will be taken place on December 11th 2014 in the meeting room of the Department of Enterprise Engineering “Mario Lucertini” starting from 09:00.
The market of videogames allowed to develop high performance graphical cards.
The CUDA technology from NVIDIA permits to relevantly boost CAE-based applications even on personal laptop as if it was a cluster with hundreds of cores.
In the first part of the workshop a short course on CUDA programming techniques will be supplied, whilst in the successive one two CAE applications, including fast morphing, will be given to show the impact of that technology to enable supercomputing.
